September 10–11, 2025 — SMX Convention Center, Pasay, Philippines
The IoT Conference Philippines 2025 commenced today under the theme “Resilience for All: Future‑Proofing Our Communities,” drawing engineers, enterprise leaders, government representatives, and innovators eager to explore how Internet of Things (IoT) technologies are driving real‑world transformation across smart cities, industrial automation, healthcare, and logistics. The plenary began with opening remarks from Arnold Bagabaldo, CEO & Founder of Packetworx, Inc., who welcomed attendees and set the tone for a two‑day deep dive on connectivity, data‑driven systems, and resilient infrastructure in the Philippines and broader Southeast Asia.
Following the welcome, Mayor Marjorie Ann “Maan” Teodoro of Marikina City delivered a keynote address on the role of IoT in urban resilience and public safety, sharing her city’s ongoing initiatives to integrate sensors and connectivity for flood mitigation and emergency response systems. Her talk underscored the potential of connected technologies to enhance community preparedness and disaster risk reduction.
Later in the afternoon, Dr. Franz De Leon, Director at DOST‑ASTI, took the stage with a keynote focused on research and innovation in IoT for sustainable development. Dr. De Leon highlighted the importance of collaboration between government, academe, and industry to accelerate local IoT adoption and develop data analytics frameworks that can support predictive maintenance and smart infrastructure deployment.
Among other major speakers was Takamori Nishikawa, President & CEO of Tensei Data Net Inc. and Tensei Philippines Inc., who led a plenary session on “The Smart Office Revolution,” detailing how IoT solutions are redefining workplace environments with connected devices that optimize energy use, safety, and employee experience. Nishikawa’s session drew attention to the intersection of IoT and enterprise productivity tools.
Technical breakout sessions featured voices from academia and industry alike; A/Prof. Joel M. Bawica and A/Prof. Ronnel A. dela Cruz of Laguna State Polytechnic University shared emerging research on IoT solutions for disaster resilience and community health monitoring, emphasizing how educational institutions are shaping future‑ready IoT talent and local innovation ecosystems.
Throughout the day, panels examined challenges in scaling IoT deployments — from network optimization and interoperability to edge computing and security frameworks — while exhibits showcased sensor technologies, connectivity tools, and smart system prototypes from local and international vendors. Attendees engaged directly with solutions and discussed strategies for integrating IoT data streams into analytics platforms to enable actionable insights.
IoT Conference Philippines 2025 offered a comprehensive view of connectivity, analytics, and security considerations shaping the future of IoT adoption across sectors, with verified insights on how connected systems can enhance operational resilience and community outcomes.
